Road closure

The Main Road through Tolpuddle will be closed to all traffic from 1pm to 6pm on Sunday 22 July.

Please arrive in time to use the car parks before 1pm. Please use the car parks and do not park on the main road or verges.

No access to car parks after the road closes and exit is only possible when it is safe to do so.

Tolpuddle is bypassed by the A35. All Sunday Rally traffic should enter Tolpuddle from the east.

If you are coming from the east of Tolpuddle you will see signs to the TUC Museum and Tolpuddle.

On entering the village you will see stewards who can direct you to the car parks.

Turn right into the Car Parks organised by the Festival.

If you are coming from the west of Tolpuddle you will see temporary festival signs directing you past the usual Tolpuddle junctions so that you enter the village from the east. Please follow these instructions.

Disabled parking

There are spaces for disabled drivers to park their vehicles in the festival camping field. Follow the signs and guidance from the stewards.

Respect the village and festival stewards

We value the support and co-operation of all residents of Tolpuddle and the neighbouring villages. We work hard to ensure they face as little disruption as posisble especially through inconsiderate parking. No Waiting cones must be respected and parking fines will apply.

Don't drive at all

We try to encourage visitors to come by coach or public transport. There is a shuttle bus that runs between Dorchester stations and Tolpuddle on Sunday.
