Thank you for supporting the Tolpuddle Martyrs’ Festival. We look forward to seeing you very soon.
There is plenty of information available on our Frequently Asked Questions webpage detailing all you need to know, including what’s on during the weekend, camping and parking information, and much more.
Keep an eye on our website as we regularly update it as speakers and bands confirm.
Terms and Conditions for Festival Tickets
- Please note that all Festival “Tickets” (entry passes, camping, parking or other access passes) are issued either by us or on our behalf. Any person who purchases, possesses, uses or attempts to use any Ticket shall be deemed to have accepted and agreed to comply with the following conditions.
- Once payment has been received by us in full, the Ticket Purchaser will be issued and delivered, by email, a confirmation of their order, with a booking reference number and relevant QR codes that will be scanned on site to allow access, and exchanged for entry wristbands, camping and vehicle passes.
- Within the ordering process, you can indicate the name and email address of the recipient of the Ticket, whilst also detailing the name and details of the Purchaser.
- Please ensure you keep your wristbands on throughout the weekend, and make sure any and all camping and vehicle passes are securely tied to your tent or visible in your vehicle. Our crew make random checks throughout the weekend so please do not be alarmed or offended if someone asks to see your wrist or briefly stares at your parked car.
- It is your responsibility to check your Tickets and booking confirmation details are correct, that you inform us immediately of any inaccuracies as mistakes cannot always be rectified. We cannot accept any liability if we are not notified of any inaccuracy.
Refunds and cancellations
- Ticket purchasers of Festival entry passes, vehicle and parking passes, tent and campervan passes can cancel and seek a refund from the Tolpuddle Martyrs’ Festival (minus handling and booking fees and any postal charges incurred at the time of purchase) as long as Festival organisers are notified by email ([email protected]) or telephone no later than 30 June each year. A £5 admin fee will be charged.
Ticket purchasers MUST provide:
- The name under which the booking was made,
- The email address used, (if relevant)
- The date you ordered
- The booking reference number and confirm which passes they would like refunded.
We may sometimes seek further information from you simply so that we can make sure we have the right booking and details to transact the refund. Please note we can only refund tickets to the original method of payment used.
Refunds sought after 30 June will not be accepted.
- We will do all we can to support our guests but please note, we reserve the right to not replace or accept any Ticket that has been lost, stolen, forgotten, damaged, defaced or forged, or any Ticket which is unreadable or incomplete. Please therefore keep your ticket safe.
- We also reserve the right to alter or vary the published Event programme without notification which may result in changes to the performance line-up, playing times or any other aspect of the Event. Like many trade union meetings we try to keep to time but sometimes sessions or speakers overrun which can affect the rest of the programme.
- In the event of unforeseen or other circumstances including but without limitation, Force Majeure events, safety and security concerns, or decisions made from an Authorised person or Authority, we reserve the right to make alterations to the time, date, duration, line-up, performances, venue, or other details.
- In the event of such alteration, we will not be liable to the Ticket Holder or any other person for any costs, expenses or other losses resulting from such alteration.
- As soon as possible after we become aware of postponement, rescheduling, curtailment or cancellation of the Event, all available information will be posted on https://www.tolpuddlemartyrs.org.uk as well as our social media platforms, and communicated on site as much as possible through our crew and volunteers.
- It is the responsibility of the Ticket Holder to ascertain whether the Event has been postponed, rescheduled or cancelled and any new dates, times, and venue.
- Whilst we have in the past been able to ensure ticket and stall holders were reimbursed for a curtailed Festival, we cannot guarantee that, should such an eventuality outside of our control take place again, we will be able to do this. Please therefore note that, tickets will not be exchanged or refunded if we have to cancel the Festival part way through advertised dates.
- In the case of cancellation, or postponement ahead of the Festival, we shall only be required to refund a Ticket Purchaser (through the relevant process detailed) the face value of the relevant ticket (minus any handling or booking fees or courier charges paid). No interest or costs will be payable in respect of any monies refunded.
