Stalls at Tolpuddle
The Tolpuddle Martyrs’ Festival welcomes applications for stalls from a wide variety of campaign groups and commercial (non food/drink) stalls.
The Festival offers groups an opportunity to promote their campaigns and merchandise. Campaign stalls reflect a spectrum of views associated with the broad labour movement and are not necessarily the policies of the TUC.
There is space for table-top stalls inside the large Martyrs’ Marquee or for small gazebos outside. Numbers are limited and the TUC will select stalls that suit the festival and offer a balance of subjects.

General Information for stall applicants
The diversity of stalls adds to the enjoyment of the event and helps promote progressive causes. The Festival has limited space and whilst all applications received by the deadline will be considered, we are unable to guarantee a stall.
The decision of the South West TUC shall be final.
We will not accept stalls including materials that are designed to cause offence, are racist, inflammatory or overtly provocative. Any infringing materials or behaviour may lead to stall holders and their space being asked to leave the site.
No placards or advertising materials are to be placed around the site other than at your own stall.
Greening our festival has been a top priority for many years. We are determined to reduce the quantity of plastic waste, and non-recyclables at the festival and therefore urge all stall holders and applicants to consider the nature of any materials and giveaway items.
Over the past few years cash has become less popular and a vast majority of people are now paying by card. We are asking that all of our traders have the facility to take card payment.
We cannot provide electricity or secure storage, so you must be responsible for all your equipment/stock during the weekend. We do however have security on site over the festival weekend from 11:00 PM on the Thursday evening until 8:00 AM Monday morning.
Please ensure you read this document for full information and for details in regards to temporary structures for Campaigning Stall Information Sheet and for Commercial Stall Information Sheet
