Campaigning stalls

The Festival offers groups and organisations an opportunity to promote their campaigns. They reflect a spectrum of views associated with the broad labour movement.

The diversity of stalls adds to the enjoyment of the event and helps promote progressive causes. The Festival has limited space and whilst all applications received by the deadline will be considered, we are unable to guarantee a stall.

Priority is given to campaigns that are trade union-backed and fall within the TUC’s campaigning objectives. The South West TUC reserves the right to refuse applications.

Campaigning stall applications are now open.

Commerical stalls

The Tolpuddle Martyrs’ Festival commerical stalls includes a range of stalls selling gifts, clothing, books and other items. It particularly welcomes small independent traders selling unique items

Commercial traderapplications are now open.

Food and drink stalls

The Festival provides a range of food and drink to suit all tastes. We try to get a balance of international food and we urge all caterers at the Festival to offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free options as much as possible. Many of our food stalls are small independent traders and locally-based.

We are strict with hygiene standards and the use and supply of materials that can be recycled.

Volunteer at the Festival

The Tolpuddle Martyrs' Festival relies on a fantastic team of volunteers. They do lots of different jobs from helping with the stages, checking on the toilets and showers, stewarding the car park, stewarding the march, and lots more. For those who are prepared to muck-in and do a shift each day we offer free admission, camping or campervan tag, crew t-shirt and food/drink vouchers.

Volunteer applications for the 2020 Festival are now open.
