After the Radical History School closes on Friday at 17:30, we open up the Village Hall to an exciting festival programme open to all.
18:00-19:30 – The Fight for Trade Unions at GCHQ
This special session shows a 30 minute capitoned film called “I Won’t Sign”, a powerful look-back at the long protracted struggle for the right of GCHQ workers to join a union and how they eventually broke through, followed by an hour long discussion on the campaign and legacy of the GCHQ dispute; a pivotal moment in British trade union history.
