After the Radical History School closes on Friday at 17:30, we open up the Village Hall to an exciting festival programme open to all.

18:00-19:30 – The Fight for Trade Unions at GCHQ

This special session shows a 30 minute capitoned film called “I Won’t Sign”, a powerful look-back at the long protracted struggle for the right of GCHQ workers to join a union and how they eventually broke through, followed by an hour long discussion on the campaign and legacy of the GCHQ dispute; a pivotal moment in British trade union history.

19:45-20:45 – An Audience With Dr. Jill Stein

Dr. Jill Stein, Green Party USA candidate for President of the United States, talks with Dr. Louise Raw on politics, activism, feminism, and what the international political climate means for workers and democracy.
