Unite Sponsored Tolpuddle – Dorchester Shuttle Service
Unite the union have kindly sponsored the Festival’s shuttle service for 2025. Please take note of the below terms and conditions and ensure you are well-prepared for your journey.
These are the terms and conditions for booking shuttle transport provided by Unite Southwest. By making a reservation or journey, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
- All timings are indicative and will be confirmed approximately one month prior to the event and may be subject to change. You are booking for a specific indicative time, and we ask you catch your booked shuttle. If you miss your booked shuttle (e.g: due to a late inbound train) or arrive early then we will do our best to accommodate you on a standby space-available basis on an alternative service, but please be prepared to wait until all other booked passengers have boarded and note that we cannot guarantee we will be able to accommodate you.
- We will send you tickets by e-mail to your registered address, to arrive no later than 10 July 2025. Should you wish to amend your booked shuttle services, you can do this by contacting [email protected] no later than 30 June 2025, and may be subject to a transaction fee. Any and all refunds are not possible after the 30 June 2025, regardless of reason. If you wish to transfer you shuttle bus journeys after this date, please refer to the terms above regarding standby spaces and its availability.
- We will be conducting ticketing checks either before you board, during your journey or upon arrival. Please have either a copy of your tickets printed out or the PDF copy of your tickets available on your digital device. Should your device fail, or you lose your printed copy of your tickets, we will check your full name on our booking system. If we are still unable to find a reservation you may need to purchase a new walk-up ticket, or you could be denied travel.
- Should you have any accessibility needs for the shuttle service, please contact us with as much notice as possible, via e-mail to [email protected].
- Shuttle transport is subject to availability and may be cancelled / changed at any time without prior notice. Neither the union nor the Festival or the TUC are liable for any direct, consequential or indirect loss or damage arising from the cancellation or change of the service. Should we be unable to provide the service our total liability will not exceed the individual ticket price of the coach ticket. This could be because of a coach provider failure, weather conditions or other factors meaning we are unable to operate the coach or provide seats for customeres (for instance if the coach company changes the size of the vehicle on the day due to extraordinary operational reasons, etc). The shuttle/coach is provided at your own risk. Unite the Union, the TUC and the Festival are not separately or collectively responsible for any injury, death, damage or loss that may occur to you or your belongings while using the service.
- Unite’s coach transport operates on a first-come, first-served basis. You must book your seat in advance. You cannot reserve more than one seat per person each way. You cannot resell or transfer shuttle tickets purchased.
- Unite is offering this shuttle service with a significant subsidy. All proceeds from ticket sales are being donated to the TUC to fund Tolpuddle Festival operating costs. Therefore, we are unable to provide any refunds should you be unable to attend the event or miss your coach. In the event we are unable to provide the coach/shuttle service due to operational reasons, and an automatic refund cannot be made, please write to: Unite the Union, Tony Benn House, Bristol, BS1 6AY, no later than 21st August 2025 providing full details and requesting a refund.
- You cannot carry any dangerous or prohibited items on the coach. You must comply with the coach/shuttle driver’s instructions and the applicable laws and regulations. Smoking and Vaping is not permitted at any time onboard. For infants, please bring an infant car seat with you. If seat belts are provided, these must be worn.
- Your booking and carriage are subject to these terms and conditions and Unite’s privacy policy. By making a booking or using this service or make a reservation you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and privacy policy.
Your personal details will be shared by the Festival organisers with Unite to book you onto and contact you with relevant information about the coach service you are signing up to attend. This could include letting you know about finalised timings, sharing operational updates and other relevant important information. We will not use your contact details after the event has concluded and will dispose of them accordingly.
We may use some data to provide an effective service and to monitor and improve the services we provide in the future.
By booking tickets you agree that your information may be shared with Unite’s trusted service, coach, facility, and/or travel providers.
All data will be safely disposed of once the event has taken place and it is no longer required for a legitimate trade union activity.
